THE YOUTH CAFE

Cromarty's Youth Development Worker, Wanda Mackay, has her office in one of the three back rooms.  Next door is a comfortable lounge area equipped with soft seating, video, computers, a new television, sound system, a brilliantly big bean bag and various games.  The young people have access to the adjoining kitchen area (with snacks + a tuckshop on sale) as well as toilets and showers.

The Cromarty Youth Cafe runs:

• Monday - junior's night 5-7pm for p4 to p7.
• Tuesday - dancing and getting fit with the new, fantastic dance teacher Nicky: 6-7pm and aerobics 7-8pm
• Wednesday - senior youth cafe from 6-9pm for ages 12 to 16.

An exciting summer programme is being launched soon,with various activities offered such as midnight mountain biking, skiing, kayaking.. etc. Watch this space! There is also an art project approaching- the end product being an art sculpture for the wall outside the Youth Café, with the help of John McNaught! Please contact Wanda if interested.
